BSF Start Dates 2016 for the Study of John

Hey all!

Oh, how I’ve missed you all!  I hope your summer has been a time of rejuvenation, rest, growth, and blessings!

I’m SO ready to dive back into the Word on a consistent basis and study John and his testimony of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Next week, I will post an overview of what we can expect from our study.

Please post your start dates below and location if you don’t mind.  I’ve been getting lots of questions on when we’ll begin and it’ll help others know when as well especially those who haven’t yet signed up yet and are curious.  I haven’t yet been contacted by my leader so I’m unsure of mine.

For those of you searching for a class to join, click HERE for the search link.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to our study!

Many blessings and hugs!

  3. My BSF class is a new satellite group. I live in Salem, Virginia and will attend on Friday mornings at 9:30, beginning on September 16. I am a long-time BSF participant of an evening class in Roanoke, Virginia and have taken all ten studies. This will be the second time on the book of John, which happens to be my personal favorite study. I love it so much, that if I could have only one book of Scripture for the rest of my life, I would pick John. I discovered that through BSF! Hope you love it dearly too! Thank you and God bless!

  8. We start in Knoxville, TN like most everybody else in this country does: week of Sept. 12 following Labor day on the 5th. Our first set of questions are given on the 12th, but not due until the 19th. Like everyone, I also am looking forward to the study of John’s Gospel, which centers on the Deity of Jesus. I agree with Mary above that the Book of John is a favorite, especially in recommending which book to start if one is a new believer. Most new Christians are given a New Testament, and they start reading Matthew because it is the first book, and then get “bogged” down with a long genealogy that they don’t understand, or even know who the people are in the long list! The Book of John starts quickly with the Word and the Deity of Christ and His Incarnation, and just gets better! Looking forward to comments by AToZ as always!

When is your first BSF meeting – the date I mean? It will be good to get back to studying the word once more. I began with John several years ago and now I’ll be studying this gospel a second time.

    Take care and God bless,

  19. Ours starts on Sept 13, but I am actually going to do something different this year. A friend who does Community Bible Study told me they are doing Isaiah this year. I really feel led to do that study, so I will switch this year and come back to BSF for Romans next year. I’ll be stopping by here every now and then to see how John is going.

  23. Albuquerque, New Mexico: Northeast side of city Monday evening men’s group, and we meet at the Sandia Baptist Church. We always start the 1st Monday after Labor Day; September 12th this year. Your notes and comments are invaluable to me as a study help. OBTW, for the Book of Revelation we covered last year, it was so popular that we easily doubled, if not tripled, our already large total group size because of the interest in Revelation’s. Smiles ☦ 🙏 ✝
