Summer Devotional August 25th, 2017

Deuteronomy 2:7:  “The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands.  He has watched over your journey through this vast desert.  These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.”

During those times in our lives when we feel alone and lost and wandering and unsure of which path to take, God is with us in our journey.  He is there, handing us water to quench our thirst, and providing encouragement, comfort, and guidance.  God is there always, blessing us as we go.  His are the invisible footprints by our side.  Forever.

    PROPHECY

The more I read the bible
    More clearly I can see
    The miracle of Prophecy
That leads me straight to Thee

    So many years neglected
At first I could not see
    How it was all connected
    The Old, the New
    And what’s to be

    In searching the Old Testament
    I see the New fulfilled
His Word is all one statement
    How great is Prophecy

It shows me that His Word
    From Genesis to end
    All points to my Redeemer
    How can I make amends

How did I miss the miracle
Your Word was there to see
    A beautiful love letter
    Made specially for me.

Hi Atoz, Thank you for letting me share my poems on your site. I have more but will not continue with them once BFS starts. I am afraid that it will interrupt BFS and that is not my intention. I am looking forward to Romans.
