Hey all!
As we head into the book of 2 Kings, there are some general tips you should keep in mind:
Tips for the Study of 2 Kings
- Chapters 1-8: A study of Elijah and Elisha
- Chapters 9-17 Accounts of history of Judah and Israel
- Chapters 18-25 After the Assyrian invasion and only Judah exists
- The prophets Amos and Hosea were in the land of Israel
- The prophets Obadiah, Joel, Isaiah, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, and Habakkuk preached in Judah (the one loyal to God)
