And the Sorrow Continues…

Two weeks ago, I lost another one of my kitties. That is three pets in the last 4 months, and it is extremely hard to bear.

I miss their constant presence. Their voices. Their noises.

But, most of all, I miss their love. How they are always there when you are stressed, worried, or just need to pet a happy creature.

I miss holding them like they held me.

My heart is extremely heavy, and sometimes the sadness is overwhelming…

  1. So sorry for the loss of family. Our pets are a great deal to us and are part of our families! Sending love and blessings. Tom and dj Lund.

  2. Have lost 2 of my 3 Yorkies in this last year and still mourning their loss. They truly God’s little Angels with paws 😥😥😥

  3. So sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you have a kitty or dog left and aren’t with out any pets. Our pets are part of our family, and are missed terribly.
Praying for the Lord’s comfort for you.

  4. Sorry for your loss. Being a pet mommy is being a mommy. Love to you and the remaining kitties. Hugs!❤️

  5. My heart feels your grief and pain. I lost 2 fur babies within 6 months as well; each with different reasons…..Forever the void reminds me of how dear and special they were. Eventually, your heart will be ready to share your love and companionship with other fur family additions. They never replace the ones lost, only grow our hearts and caring souls with honoring the ones before in a legacy of need and care. Allow the tears, sadness and hurt to be there, for that is therapy in knowing you have felt God’s love and blessings in them and know how special it is.

  6. Oh, I’m so sorry to hear this. I am a cat lover and it’s always so hard when you lose one. Praying our Father will comfort you and help you through this! Blessings💗

  7. Atozmomm: Following you since 2008. It’s very hard to lose an
animal because they become apart of you. My husband and I raised Great Danes fo 28 years. In 2015 we had 2 Danes. On Thursday I lost my husband and both danes were acting so strange 😕 knew something bad had happened. Following Thuesday about same time husband passed Savannah mother dog had stroke and passed. I was so shocked. Exactly 1 year to date Velvet had stroke also. Now it was me alone. But the last year she gave me so much love and comfort 💕 God truly knew what I needed to survive and Velvet gave so much love happiness. I miss them all everyday. These loving creature’s ask for nothing but your love. SSo sorry 😞 for you loss. Thinking of you! 😢🙏♥️

  8. You have been so kind over the years to have offered your responses to the many different Bible Studies. It has certainly helped me grow in confidence and understanding of Scripture.
    I thank you for that.
I’m very sorry for the loss of your precious pets. They do become family and it is so sad to loose them.
Time makes it easier but never erases the love one has for them or the loss of them.
    Love in Christ.

  9. You must live in coyote country like I do! Over time we lost five cats and I just could not buy another cat to feed to the coyotes. So now I can no longer have a cat to enjoy!!

  10. I am so sorry for the loss of your kitten….I believe I sent this on to you before, but it is worth a second read,
So this is what comes to mind, and I hope it helps you too.

God made that covenant not only with Noah and his descendants but with the animals also.
“And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you; the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth.” Genesis 9:9,10
Read Genesis 9:8-17 for all the details. God must have considered the animals important, since He emphasized that they were included in that covenant.
Jesus said that God is aware when even a sparrow falls to the ground. God is more loving and compassionate than any human could ever be. In fact, 1 John 4:8 says that God is love. If we are concerned about what happens to the animals we have loved here, God is even more so.
I believe He has provided for them as He has for us.

  11. I’m so sorry! We have three dogs, the youngest of which is 12. Our lab/golden is 13, which is old for those breeds. Our tiny schnauzer is older still and REALLY showing her age. I know we have so much heartbreak coming, and so I can empathize with what you’ve gone through. They are such great companions and take such a piece of us when they go. I wish I could give you a big hug right now.

  12. So sorry. Will hold you close in prayer through this time. Thank you for sharing with. Us so we can pray for you.

  13. I am truly sad for you and your three losses of your 3 fur babies this year 😢 I have a soon to be 11 year old Goldendoodle who is full of tumors, most of which are fatty tumors but….I do fear the day he will be gone and thank God each morning and night for the privilege of still having him to love and be loved back ~ May Our Merciful Lord grant you inner and outer peace 🙏 Hugs from my heart ❤️

  14. I lost our two collies and cat last year. My Mosley cat in April, Shelby my girl collie in June and Indy my boy collie in August. I know what you are going through and praying for you 🙏

  15. I know your pain. I had to put down our Lily dog and Annie is not far behind. It is hard to see them suffer. They are truly family. They love us unconditionally. They are God’s creation and He loves them.
    I wish you peace.
