Bible Study Plans: What is the Bible Telling Me?

Studying the Bible is not easy. It’s a difficult book, written in many different styles by many different authors with events that happened thousands of years ago, which is hard for us to understand. After all, sacrificing of animals and the 10 plagues God sent down on Egypt as punishment for the sins against God’s people are hard for us to understand. In this blog post, we’ll review the two main lessons the Bible is trying to tell you. Contact AtoZMomm to learn more.

TWO MAIN LESSONS THE BIBLE IS TEACHING ME

  1. The Old Testament. The Old Testament basically says that God’s people have rebelled against him (since Adam and Eve), and thus deserve God’s wrath, judgment, and punishment.
  2. The New Testament. The New Testament tells us that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to save us from His just punishment from the Old Testament and that we can live forever in heaven with God through accepting Jesus as our Savior.

These two lessons are the crux of the Bible. Are these lessons that simple? Yes and no. Fundamentally, yes. But there’s so much more than this surface level, such as walking in the ways of Jesus and understanding our past in order to improve our future. Contact me if you have questions!

  1. OT Motif – One God that made everything, Sees Everything, Hears Everything & knows everything from the end to the beginning…This fact is too important to gloss over, ATOZMOM 🙂
