God is good.

Remember this in the midst of trials, celebrations, fun, and sorrow.  Despite it all, God is good.

The Great Commission by Jesus Christ

Matthew 28:19-20:  “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Evangelizing is something I believe a majority of us struggle with.  For my last devotional, I would like to challenge you to invite one person either to Bible Study Fellowship, a different Fall Bible Study you may be doing, or your church TODAY.  It’s a simple question, not a lot of pressure.  But it could make all the difference in someone’s life!

God bless and looking forward to Romans!

Psalm 43:1:  “Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from deceitful and wicked men.”

Playing off of Monday’s devotional, do the right thing and God will vindicate you and defend you and rescue you from whatever you face.  Faith.  Belief.  Reliance.  Prayer.  All your weapons against Darkness.

Summer Devotional August 28th, 2017

Jeremiah 22:3:  “This is what the Lord says:  Do what is just and right.”

This can be hard to do in every day life.  Treating others fairly.  Putting aside your pride.  Paying for the tickets someone forgot to charge you for.  Standing up for someone.  Or quitting your job because of dubious practices. Keep in mind God is with you every step of every day to do what is just and right in this very Fallen world.  Remember Him and these decisions will be easy.
