Spiritually, “light” represents God’s divine truth, life, and purity, while “darkness” symbolizes spiritual blindness, evil, Satan, and separation from Him. Spiritually, God’s “light” shines through love, kindness, and moral clarity, while “darkness” appears as selfishness, injustice, sin, and the brokenness we see in society daily.
7) People will look for satisfaction or safety in anything and everything: spouse, friend, their job, money, etc. Consequences of moving away from the light is a life without Christ, meaning, and purpose, as well as a propensity for sin. It leads to spiritual blindness, moral confusion, and deep emptiness, ultimately separating people from God’s guidance, truth, and eternal peace.
