Summary of John 1:1-14

In the beginning was God and Jesus. All things were made through Jesus. He was life. He defeats evil. John was a witness to Jesus. Jesus came but many did not recognize him. He came to the Jews who rejected him. All who did believe became children of God. Jesus became flesh and dwelt with us.

Questions for John 1:1-14

1 ) Jesus existed before all of creation. All things were made through him. He was life. He defeats evil. In John 1, God the Son stands out as the eternal Word, existing with God and as God, who actively created everything before taking flesh.

2) I have a lot of uncertainty right now in my life and decisions to make about my future. Knowing Jesus is with me makes all the difference!

Jesus, the divine Word and Creator, came into the dark world as a human to bring light, grace, and the power to become God’s children through faith!
