Summary of John 1:1-3

In the beginning was God and Jesus, the pre-incarnate. All things were made through Jesus.

Questions for John 1:1-3

3 ) The Word was in the beginning. The Word was with God. The Word was God. Jesus has always existed. Jesus has always been with God. Jesus is part of the Triune God with God and the Holy Spirit.

4) Both phrases emphasize that God the Father and God the Son existed together from eternity, sharing an unbroken, equal relationship before time and creation even began.

5) Jesus always has been and will be. This is so comforting in life. And, recognizing Jesus as the ultimate source of life and love humbles us, transforming how we value others and inspiring selfless, grace-filled relationships.

In the beginning, the Word existed with God and was God. Through Him, all things were created, and absolutely nothing exists apart from Him.

If nothing exists apart from God, then why would YOU want to exist without God?
