2 Thessalonians 1:11: “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.”
There is a purpose is what you do. Even when the drudgery seems unbearable and all you want to do is quit. Don’t. Pray instead. Ask God to show you His purpose. His calling. His will for your work.

Thank you, Father, that my life and my future are in your hands. Forgive me for the times that my plans are too full of myself and not consciously dependent upon you. Thank you for rescuing me from the messes I have made because of my failed plans built around my own foolish arrogance. I gladly place my life, and my future in submission to your will and plans.
