Tips to Keep in Mind for the Study of 2 Kings in BSF’s People of the Promise: Kingdom Divided

Hey all!

As we head into the book of 2 Kings, there are some general tips you should keep in mind:

Chapters 1-8: A study of Elijah and Elisha
Chapters 9-17 Accounts of history of Judah and Israel
Chapters 18-25 After the Assyrian invasion and only Judah exists
The prophets Amos and Hosea were in the land of Israel
The prophets Obadiah, Joel, Isaiah, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, and Habakkuk preached in Judah (the one loyal to God)
