Habakkuk, a prophet, prays and praises God. He lists what God does, His greatness, and how the Lord made the nations tremble. The Lord was angry, and He came out to save His people. He waits for the day calamity will come to their enemies, and then he rejoices in Him and God’s faithfulness. The Lord is His strength.

Questions For Habakkuk 3

1)Habakkuk was frightened by the Lord’s wrath, but he waits patiently for the Lord’s revenge on Israel’s enemies. He rejoices despite the fact they have nothing. The Lord is His strength. Habakkuk goes from anger to reverence.

2) Many ways. He’s given me more patience to wait and endure and given me more understanding for others, too, who are in the same boat and going through hard times.

Conclusions to Habakkuk 3

Habakkuk reveres God, accepts His will, and finds peace with it. We must accept that God’s purposes rule our lives. He can do anything. He has a plan. We then rest in Him.
