Habakkuk references God’s control over nature and creation when he split the earth with rivers, writhed the mountains, and told the sun and moon to stand still.

6) We see God riding horses and chariots, fighting for His people. We see him splitting rivers and mountains and controlling the sun and the moon.

7) In Exodus 15:3-5, we see God as a warrior as He hurls Pharaoh’s chariots and army into the sea. Here, we see God riding horses and chariots to victory. We see how God has control over the seas and everything in creation.

8 ) It would give me more peace and less anger. I would react differently and act differently. I would be more compassionate and slower to anger. Remembering God is with me would be helpful in my daily life indeed!

God is in complete control of the universe and everything in it. He alone holds it together. God can do anything. God is always at work and with us. Praise Him for this!
