“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR HEBREWS 1:3

15) Probably everything. Christians have a different worldview anyway once they have Christ in their hearts. However, when we think about Jesus as superior to all, it should make our worries insignificant and paltry to say the least.

16) Anytime I am in God’s word I am impacted. This summer Bible series is helping me to open my Bible more, pray more, and grow closer to God more.

CONCLUSIONS TO WEEK 1 OF WORDGO’S STUDY OF HEBREWS

There is something comforting knowing Jesus is at God’s right hand. Unsure how else to describe it.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR HEBREWS 1-4:13:

13) Jesus came to free us from the fear of death and offer a direct pathway to God. Jesus fulfills all of the Old Testament prophecies. He is the only way to heaven.

14) You learn so much when you study God’s Word any time. The Bible is many books that point to God’s Son, and all throughout history, you can see God’s plans taking shape. It’s truly amazing!

CONCLUSIONS TO WEEK 1 OF WORDGO’S STUDY OF HEBREWS

Although the book of Hebrews can be hard to understand, it’s mission is to show the superiority of Jesus Christ, to show how he had to come as a human to save us from our sins, and to show how only he is the way to God. Great stuff!
