Summer Bible Study: WordGo’s Study of Hebrews: Week 2, Day 6: Hebrews 4:14

PASSAGE IN HEBREWS:

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.”

Hebrews 4:14

REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR HEBREWS 4:14:

15) Being more grateful for the things I get to do in this world, for this life, for my family, and for Christ.

16) It’s just comforting overall that God is in control. My job’s role keeps changing, which has had me on edge. But knowing God has got this makes all the difference.

CONCLUSIONS TO WEEK 2 OF WORDGO’S STUDY OF HEBREWS

It’s hard to deny Jesus when reading the book of Hebrews. While complicated and at times irrelevant to our era, it’s a great place to send those who doubt.

Summer Bible Study: WordGo’s Study of Hebrews: Week 2, Day 5: Hebrews 4:14-7

REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR HEBREWS 4:14-7

13) God has everything perfectly planned from the beginning. Jesus has always been the plan, and we can take comfort in that, especially when events in the world happen that we don’t understand.

14) It matters because before Jesus the only way to God was via a priest. Since Jesus is the perfect and permanent priest, we can now have access to God directly.

CONCLUSIONS TO WORDGO HEBREWS 4:14-7

Admittedly, this passage was more relevant to first century Jews than to us. That being said, it still shows us the perfect plan of God and explains how Jesus is the final and only way to Him.
